In order to successfully get your television speakers to play audio that is being transmitted from the receiver, it is necessary for you to enable the "HDMI Audio to TV" setting, which can be found under the General section followed by the CEC Settings.
Please be aware that when you are passing the audio signal to your television, the MRX/AVM will not output audio through your speakers, as this is now considered to be a passthrough signal, meaning that the audio is simply being routed to the TV without being processed by the receiver.
