If you are unable to see the microphone in ARC Genesis but can see the microphone as an audio device you will need to check your laptop’s drivers for Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio or AMD USB Audio and disable this driver.

For most systems, these drivers can be found under Device Manager > Sound, video & game controllers
Look for:

Intel® Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio or AMD USB Audio

Windows may prompt you to restart your laptop, this needs to be done.

IMPORTANT:
Please remember to re-enable this driver once you have completed the ARC Genesis calibration.
